Ad Astra- History of the World When I began Ad Astra, I decided I needed to set the scene with a history lesson. Ad Astra is set in the future, at a time when humans are spread over a large portion of the galaxy. How they got there and what happened afterwards is what this is all about. Using the planet Atlas as a more-or-less typical example of what happens on what I call the Exile Worlds. For whatever reason, I started this off in grayscale, I guess I thought it would give it a kind of newsreel footage feel. It's actually harder working in gray than it is in color, I found.
I uploaded it as a cbz file for CDisplay or other comic readers, but it was converted back to a zip file...
OK, downloaded it, and it opens without any issues. I haven't tried it on my Zoom yet, but it should work fine. I'm going to post the download link over on the V&V Forums, Atomic Think Tank, the Monkey House Games Forums, and Superbuddies.
If you download the zip file, it's the whole first part of Ad Astra. I just found you can read the zip file in my comic reader on my iPad, without changing the file type, and in CDisplay on the PC.
I never named her. From her look, I'm pretty sure that I intended her to be one of Valkyrie's psycho dames. I like long hair, but it doesn't have to be that long.
Who's the warrior princess in that last panel, and it's funny I never felt as comfortable with a person with that much hair.
